Ordinary people can make a difference to the health of their community. Could that person be you?

  • Free training at Chermside Library in May

Take your first steps towards making a difference in health care

Many people do not know that they can influence the health care system. Come along to learn how you can use your experience of healthcare to create change.

Learn:

  • How the health system works

  • What is a health consumer?

  • How do health consumers influence healthcare?

  • What experiences of healthcare do you have?

  • Tips for being a strong voice

  • Ways to become involved and make change

  • What you can do next

This session will be a friendly, casual and supportive way to explore whether you would like to become involved.

A delicious morning tea will be served, so come along and meet our staff and other members of your community for a morning of possibilities.

Please note that this introductory training is for people who have limited knowledge of the concept of consumer representation. If you have experience in consumer representation, this course may be of limited value to you.
