This is a community led forum on safety & wellbeing. Hear from local leaders & services on how to keep you and your family safe at home.
About this event
Join local community leaders, Whittlesea Community Connections (WCC) and the Brotherhood of St Laurence in this FREE forum. You will have the opportunity to talk to and hear from services so that you can better understand how to support your family or someone you know who is feeling unsafe at home.
Talk to and hear from the following services:
- The Orange Door
- Whittlesea Community Connections Legal Service
- inTouch Multicultural Centre Against Family Violence
- Berry Street Child and Family Service
- Men's Referral Service
- Child Protection Services
- Victorian Police
You will also hear a poetry reading and see the launch of WCC's new community safety resources.
Morning tea and refreshments provided. Free childcare is also available on request.
