About this Event
Wingecarribee Shire Council acknowledges the long recovery journey post 2019/20 bushfires. We will be holding this free community recovery concert to bring some joy and community connection.
Performers include:
Mahalia Barnes and The Soul Mates. Justice Crew. X Factor grand finalists Jess & Matt. Michelle Cashman. Bald and the Beautiful.
There will be free family entertainment including Jumping Castles, Face painting and balloon twisting.
Local food vans; Hot Potato Van, The Chubby Wombat, Genki Poke, and two Black Bees will be onsite for food options
Feel free to bring picnic rug and chairs if you wish. Please use the rubbish bins provided or take your rubbish with you.
COVID-19 Policy
Wingecarribee Shire Council are committed to providing a safe environment for all attendees including ticket holders, staff and vendors. We are fully compliant with all current government advice and restrictions pertaining to COVID-19, and any additional regulatory requirements will be implemented accordingly. It is at the attendee’s discretion whether to wear a face mask to the event.
Guests from the same household may sit together, but you MUST remain 1.5m from surrounding households. Please ensure 1.5m distance is kept when lining up for food or activities and at the gate.
Hand washing stations are located in the permanent toilet facilities.
For the safety and health of our staff, and the whole community, we ask that guests practice good general hygiene and if feeling unwell, you remain at home. We want to make sure we are doing everything we can to help reduce COVID-19 community transmission and appreciate your cooperation during this time.
All patrons are required to follow safety procedures and policy as set out by the event. Failure to comply with policies and procedures will be deemed grounds for removal from the event.
On arrival at the event all patrons will be required to check in before entry via a COVID-19 Contract Tracing QR Code. This will entail scanning the QR code, entering your detail and showing the completed submission to a staff member. If you are unable to scan or don’t have a phone, a member of staff will assist you with checking in.
No Show
If you are unable to attend the event after obtaining a ticket, please contact communityrecovery@wsc.nsw.gov.au or call 4868 0888 so that we are able to contact residents who may be on the standby list.
TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR TICKET HOLDERS
• Participating at the concert is at your own risk, including any risk of injury, theft, loss or damage, to person or property. Wingecarribee Shire Council will not be at fault for any of the above. By entering you abide by the above.
• Children under 12 must be supervised at all times.
• You must be considerate of those around you. Use of obscene language & swearing will not be tolerated.
• Entry to the event is via the main pedestrians entry only. No pass outs and no vehicle access.
• No animals are permitted at the event.
• This is a Smoke Free event so No Smoking permitted on the site.
• ALCOHOL is not permitted on the site and will not be available at the event.
• Food can be purchased from a limited number of vendors. Food can be brought in from outside providers or from home and rubbish placed in the bins provided.
• DO NOT attend our event if you are unwell or show signs of COVID-19. Your ticket can be passed onto a family member or friend should you not be able to attend. Refunds will not be issued if the ticket holder is unable to attend.
• WEATHER - In the event of predicted extreme weather the event will be postponed. You will be sent an email advising so. Please refer to our Facebook event page to keep up to date on event details and decisions about extreme weather.
