Event description

Description

The second in a series of family and environmentally-friendly film screenings hosted by The Wilderness Society's Wilderness West team.

The film this time is The Bentley Effect, by Brendan Shoebridge.

Filmed over five years, it documents the movement to keep the
Northern Rivers region of NSW coal seam gas free. This extraordinary tale of the Bentley Blockade shows the strength of a community that defied the fracking juggernaut

The Wilderness West team would love to have you there. If you are interested in learning more about the environmental campaigns gaining traction in Australia at the moment, and would like to get more involved, there will be lots of information, and friendly faces to talk to at the screening as well.

Entry to this event is $5, and 100% of this fee will be going to ‘The Bentley Effect’
movement, which aims to support the filmmakers and spread the film to a wider audience.

The Big Beet will be operating as normal, and food and drinks will be available for purchase.
