This is the final in the series of Community Conversations led by notable Australians, hosted by ECU South West Campus.

This public lecture titled “Why should we care about refugees?’, is presented by Julian Burnside AO QC. A prominent barrister based in Melbourne, Julian is a former President of Liberty Victoria and has acted pro bono in many human rights cases, in particular concerning the treatment of refugees.

The lecture will be followed by a short question time and the event will conclude with light refreshments and the opportunity for informal conversations.

There is no cost to attend, however as seats are limited booking is essential.
