Event description

Description

Join us as we explore community led energy initiatives from across the world.

Our guest speaker, Heather Smith, will discuss her recent Churchill Fellowship where she investigated changes in electricity markets stimulated by community led energy initiatives. Heather will provide insights from the 16 cities she visited in Japan, Germany, Denmark, UK and the USA and how these initiatives provoked change and defined each country’s energy transition. We will also discuss what Adelaide can learn from this and what it could mean for our city, and ourselves.

This event will provide the opportunity to network with sustainability-minded people and learn about the impact of community led energy initiatives.

Heather is looking forward to sharing what she learnt from her trip and being part of the community led energy discussion in Adelaide.

This is a free event brought to you by Adelaide Sustainability Connect. The event commences at 6pm for a 6.30pm start. We look forward to seeing you there!
