The Strategy and People series of workshops offer participants hands-on opportunities to develop and influence people capability.

About this Event

This workshop is about asking good questions and engaging in constructive, strengths-based feedback. You will be introduced to models and tools that help you create an environment where questioning and feedback are standard practices to help yourself and others achieve results. Of our 101 strategic tools you will be introduced to the following 10 tools:

You will have opportunities to apply a decision-making model for asking good questions, and practice using effective feedback methods. You will leave with a range of tools, models and guidelines that support you in using strategic communication strategies to achieve results in your workplace.

Dr Lesley Petersen: Lesley has over 25 years' experience in the learning and development field, specifically building her expertise in the areas of mentoring, program design and training. She uses her mentoring expertise to assist organisations with implementing mentoring programs to help develop staff to reach their full potential.

Dr Lyn Alderman: Lyn is the former Chief Evaluator, Department of Social Services. Her 35 years of experience spans several sectors including government, non-profit, corporate, higher education and vocational education. She has a deep disciplinary knowledge of policy design, program evaluation, evaluation frameworks, performance models, monitoring of quality assurance, institutional analytics and curriculum writing.
