Description

ABOUT THIS SESSION:

Your digital profile is your first chance to make an impression, and your bio or profile narrative is often how people will first ‘meet’ you. Who are you online? How do you write an effective bio?

That’s what this workshop’s about! Come along and find out the ways that your social media bio shapes who people think you are. Relevant for platforms such as Twitter and LinkedIn, and for online publication bios.

WORKSHOP FACILITATOR:

Dr Tseen Khoo is a lecturer in research education and development with the RED team at La Trobe University. She is part of the La Trobe Researchers social media team (Twitter: @LTUresearchers / Facebook / The RED Alert)

Tseen created and manages the weekly blog and social media project, The Research Whisperer, with Jonathan O'Donnell. She's on Twitter at @tseenster.
