Do you ever wonder what the world would be like if people were better connected?
Better connected to the people around them, the place they live, the earth they tread, the food they eat, the work they do, the beat of their heart, the whole human experience? Connected to purpose, principles and passion?
Commonground is a vibrant example of that better connected world. A community of change makers dedicated to the purpose of supporting the social change movement. On 95 acres of rejuvenated bushland 1 hour north of Melbourne.
Commonground Festival is designed to help you reconnect.
It is a festival that celebrates social change. A place to experience what life could be like. It’s about working together to make the world a better place and having one heck of a good time along the way!
Run by volunteers, the festival is a fundraiser for Commonground, a not for profit social enterprise that supports social justice, environmental, disadvantaged and community groups. It does this through providing its Venue at subsidised rates for social change groups, it’s Intentional Community, and its education and training organisation, the Groupwork Institute of Australia.
We have curated a lineup of unforgettable poetic voices, layers of rhythm and jaw dropping musical talent.
Complimenting the music makers on the stage will be a series of top quality workshops, designed to inspire, challenge and provide practical tools covering a range of topics related to Collaboration, Activism, Community Living & Connecting to Nature.
Join us to celebrate the social change movement on the 18th-20th November.
