Hey pregnant mum,

Are you keen to talk and learn about pregnancy, birth and early parenting?

Are you looking to connect with other women and build your community around you?

Do you want to set yourself up for the best possible pregnancy, birth and transition to parenthood?

I know giving birth and parenting can positive, meaningful and life changing. It doesn’t have to be an experience that you need to “get through”. You have a space that's safe and welcoming to come to each month where you can think about and discuss your personal needs and how to set yourself up for the best possible experience. Check in with women who are open to the kinds of deeply satisfying and honest conversations we need in pregnancy - packed with compassion, humour and community.

Come and connect with other women in a comfortable setting. Learn from a registered midwife, and discuss with other expecting women the topics that matter to you. Most months new mums will return to the group to share their own experiences with the group. Drop in any time or get the most out of this group and come each month from early pregnancy. look out for guest speakers who join us occasion to explore areas of interest.

The uniqueness of this space is that the topics are adapted to the needs of everyone present. You have time to ask questions, clarify and follow up with anything that is important to you.

Your ticket includes:

  • 2 hours+ of engaging antenatal education and connection

  • A range of expert special guests sharing their skills and knowledge

  • Access to the Circles of Women library ($30 fully refundable deposit). Each month a selection of highly recommended books on a range of topics are brought to the group. Take and exchange a book to borrow for the month.

  • Phone & email support for the month following the event.

  • An opportunity to build friendships with other expecting mums and create a supportive community that you can draw on after birth.


Each session begins with a quick introduction and check-in with everyone present so we can get to know each other better. This is followed by guest speakers, then an exploration of the topic of the month. Questions are encouraged and there is plenty of time to get involved in the discussion. You guide the content of each session in the questions you ask.

This is a very relaxed, informal group which although structured conversation, questions and comments are encouraged. New mums who share the stories of their pregnancy, birth and experience with their newborn baby are given guidance and directed questions to help them focus on sharing the practical and useful insights and descriptions you are looking for. The focus is on "how can this information help you have a more informed birth and promote flexibility in your mindset".


Topics are organised into 6 main groups that are presented on a rotating roster:


Tuesday 4th July: Working with pain in labour - what can help

Tuesday 8th August: After the birth: postnatal health and what to expect

Tuesday 5th September: Stages of labour: what happens and when.

Tuesday 3rd October: Feeding your baby: Not just breast or bottle.

Tuesday 7th November: Common interventions, what are they and why are they done?

Tuesday 5th December: The Newborn baby: the first week


There is so much you can do and learn to help you feel prepared and confident looking forward to your birth. Hearing a range of normal, positive birth stories presented in this way can give insight into how it may feel for you, and encourage you to experiment, helping you feel more prepared and gain ideas that might work for you.
