Half-day seminar for public sector officers, to provide practical information on Queensland's parliamentary committee system.

This half-day seminar will provide up to date and practical information on Queensland’s parliamentary committee system and its impacts on public sector officers.
The structure and purpose of the portfolio-based committees will be outlined, together with an overview of the role of parliamentary committees.
You will learn about the committee inquiry process and your role as a public sector officer in providing information to parliamentary committees.
IMPORTANT: Please note that in accordance with a Speaker's Direction issued 11 December 2021, visitors to the Parliamentary Precinct will not be permitted to enter unless they are double vaccinated, have proof of a medical exemption or medical contraindication to the COVID-19 vaccine, or have otherwise applied to the Speaker for exemption from this direction and an exemption has been granted.
Visitors will be required to demonstrate they have been vaccinated upon entry. There is a range of ways to do this including for example, through the 'Check in Queensland App'.
