Event description

Description

COMM3030 India - is an intensive for-credit (6 UOC) course which provides students the unique opportunity to gain international understanding, exposure and workplace skills through studying and working in a specified location overseas.

The Social Entrepreneurship Practicum is run in India for approximately four weeks in either December 2017 or January 2018 or February 2018 and offers a “get your hands dirty” approach to education. The UNSW Business School in collaboration with 40RTYK Globe are offering students a highly challenging yet sufficiently supervised program whereby participants will be living and working in the grassroots of an Indian village gaining practical experience in building a social business in an emerging market environment.

COMM3030 - Sydney is offered in intensive mode over the summer Semester 1. Students are required to attend the Social Impact Hub and work with a social enterprise or not-for-profit organisation on a real world project in a field of social impact such as a social enterprise development, impact investing, impact measurement, philanthropy and human rights. You will gain invaluable practical experience while making a positive difference at the same time!
