About this Event
This is a fun event for anyone who would like to try their hand at nature weaving! Join the Rangers and artist Rebecca McEwan in celebrating our engagement with nature during Covid, by weaving natural materials through a large tree weaving loom. There will be time to reflect on what nature has meant to you during the pandemic, with an opportunity to weave your own words and thoughts into the loom (on gum leaves provided by the Rangers).
Don’t miss out on participating or viewing the nature loom as the Rangers will take it down afterwards, and ‘leave no trace’. Note: Materials will be collected by Rangers from park maintenance sites around the park, please do not bring your own.
Belair National Park is celebrating Park of the Month in October and will be hosting a range of other fun and educational activities. Visit www.parks.sa.gov.au /park-of-the-month/
Vehicle entry fees apply to visit Belair National Park.
