Join us for the combined AGM of Ipswich Independent Youth Service Inc., Ipswich Housing & Support Services Inc. and Domestic Violence Action Centre Inc. organisations who have worked together in innovative ways for many years.
Ipswich Independent Youth Service Inc. Since 1982: Providing accommodation and support to young people experiencing homelessness in the Ipswich region.
Ipswich Housing and Support Services Inc. Since 1985: Providing temporary housing to families who are homeless/ at risk of homelessness, Emergency Relief and advocacy for people experiencing financial crisis.
Domestic Violence Action Centre Inc. Since 1994: Providing support to women and children who have experienced D&FV as well as training and awareness raising to the community.
Registration starts at 7am with the AGM commencing at 7:30 am. On the morning we will go through the process of the each individual AGM during a delicious free breakfast at Brothers League Club in Ipswich. We will also have a great guest speaker for the morning. We encourage you to consider becoming a member of each of the organisations to be a part of our future as we develop further collaborative practices.

Domestic Violence Action Centre
DVAC is a feminist community organisation committed towards the elimination of domestic & Family Violence throughout the community. Services are provided in the communities and surrounding districts of Toowoomba and the Darling Downs as well as Ipswich and surrounding areas, Goodna, Springfield, Gatton, Laidley, Lowood, Esk, Toogoolawah & Boonah.
DVAC provides: Crises support, Counselling, Court Support, Safety Planning, Information Advice & Referral, Group work for women, children & young people as well as Community & Public Education, Training for professionals, Awareness raising campaigns & support with Protection Orders.
