Unlock the magic of colour mixing through guided experiments and playful challenges.

Colour Play is an exciting hand on workshop where visual arts students unlock the magic of mixing through guided experiments and playful challenges.

Beginning with an introduction to split primary colour theory, participants explore how to mix and manipulate colours using tints tones and shades. Perfect for young artists, Colour play is the first step to mastering colour and realising what is possible with a brush and palette.

This workshop is designed and provided for high school visual art students going in to years 7-8. Please note this workshop is targeted to this audience.

Bring your own apron, A4 display folder, water bottle and snacks.

About the facilitator:

Sarah Fordham is a passionate artist, educator and workshop facilitator with over twenty-five years of professional experience.

MARRICKVILLE PAVILION AND LIBRARY is accessible by lift from both the street and ground levels. The venue is accessible for people using wheelchairs and other mobility aids. There is a hearing loop available.
