About this Event
Presenter, Dr Tsai-Wing Ow will provide information on assessment and investigation strategies for early diagnosis and prevention of colorectal cancer.
Dr Tsai-Wing Ow will discuss screening and surveillance approaches, as well as principals of management for colorectal cancer.
Learning Outcomes
- Explain the basic science of colorectal cancer and identify early symptoms of the disease in patients
- Discuss assessment and investigations strategies for the patients showing early symptoms of the disease
- Summarise screening and surveillance approaches for prevention of colorectal cancer at Stage B
- Analyse principles of management for colorectal cancer and identify referral pathways available in the region
