About this Event

Collie is set to host the Collie Trail Fest on Saturday, April 17 and Sunday, April 18 with over 1000 participants expected to experience adventure through some picturesque scenery throughout the weekend.

The brand new event will include a Saturday night race exploring the trails with your headlamp. Reflective flagging tape and fairy lights will guide runners around singletrack. The event village will be buzzing all afternoon before the twilight send off.

Sunday morning trail run will feature three distances trail half marathon, 12km and 5km trail race. 5km is walk or run all about fun, with a special U18 youth division. There's a range of age categories from 6 plus to 65+.

The course will take runners onto brand new scenic trails that will be breathtaking and challenging, with a heros welcome of live music and a festive atmosphere at the finish.

Trail running is open to everyone, with the 5km course that has a motto: Walk or Run all about fun, to attracting top athletes from the state. Head over to perthtrailseries.com.au to find out more details.

We've got multiple days and distances.

What am I required to bring?

1. You must carry a hydration system that will hold a minimum of 500ml for the duration of the event. This could be a handheld, a pack, or a waist belt. We recommend most runners carry at least 1 ltr.

2. You must wear your race bib at all times during the event.

3. A positive, prepare for anything attitude!

What will I be running on?

Course Description: Stunning trail! Of course, there's hills and technical trail because it wouldn't be a trail race without those...however it's all cruisy and runnable.

Saturday night: Fun! Fairy Lights, Sweet single track, and the awesome group vibe that accompany all PTS events! A great way to stretch out the legs with a 7km run after a drive to Collie. 5pm Rego for 6:20pm Start

Saturday: A cruisy start to the morning sees you toeing the start line for the Half Marathon at 8am. Even later for the 12km and 5k! Woohooooo!

We'll have our presos for the Sunday prior to midday to allow travel time back home!

Is there an Aid Station?

Top up Station: There will be top up stations approximately halfway into the races, providing water and carbohydrates  (so bring your reusable, collapsible cup!) and bananas. Depending on race day weather, additional aid stations may be provided. There will be a First Aid Station at the Start/Finish of the race.

When do I collect my Race Bib?

Race bib pickup for this event is all listed in our event guide, which can be found on the website.

Will I receive more information?

Yes! The Wednesday before the event we send out a PRE RACE email. It will include all the specifics to help you be best prepared for event weekend.

What time does my race start?

Check the website for start times and course details.
