Waverley Library invites you to a night of Cut and Paste- an introduction into making analog collages.

The Sydney Collage Society is a creative pool of cut and paste artists based in Sydney. Founded in 2015, by Kubi Vasak (Kubism_) and Leah Early (LA Early), the SCS is here to push the boundaries of cut-and-paste.

In this workshop you will learn about:

  • Specific types of collage, using colour, texture, form and image placement.

  • Receive tips from the experts,what to look out for when sourcing materials and creatively putting your work together will be discussed.

By the end of the class, students will have completed various collages in different styles. In this workshop you will learn to push the boundaries and make unique pieces of art. No experience necessary!
