Description

Collaboration: using places and spaces to foster connection.

Knowledge Management has traditionally focussed on People, Process and Technology – with the familiar Venn diagram of the key knowledge components connecting the three. Whilst the People component is key, we can often be guilty of neglecting the diversity of those within our organisation when it comes to executing our knowledge and collaboration strategies. Seldom do we consider whether our working environments; the places where we spend a considerable amount of our working lives, are really conducive to effective knowledge sharing and collaboration across the generations.

This interactive workshop aims to challenge our thinking on place and our user community. Knowledge and collaboration strategies will be explored through a different lens, seeking to inspire participants with what’s possible, as well contemplating the impact future trends may have in the context of the workplace and associated collaboration spaces.
