Event description
Playful Thinking... Helping you encourage your team to think innovation & improve the way they operate.

About this Event

It’s not so easy to work well with others. It’s also not easy to come up with new ideas. Thankfully, coming up with new ideas (innovation) and working well with others (collaboration) are intimately connected within any team that has a playful culture.

Drawing from the world of game design and utilising playful methodologies developed by great innovators, this session will help leaders, owners, managers and team players to create the kind of team environment that is creative and engaging.

Who should attend:

This workshop is for anyone who wants to work well with others in any context and will focus on the creative process and the work of innovation

Speaker:

Daniel Teitelbaum, Playful Thinking

Daniel Teitelbaum is the director of Playful Thinking, a consultancy that uses playful methodologies to help organisations and teams grow and develop. Playful Thinking draws on tools in education, game design, theatre and toy design to apply to the challenges of the modern organisation – creative, connected and engaged teams.

Daniel is also a radio broadcaster on 3RRR, a comedy cabaret performer and an Associate Teacher of Design at Monash University. Previously he was the head of Content at The School of Life Australia and part of the strategy team at Small Giants. Daniel’s background is in Philosophy, Law and Theatre Studies and has worked with universities, NFP’s, businesses and local councils.
