Coffs Harbour Bellingen Society - Non-pharma mgmt of Depression & Anxiety
Event Information
About this event
In 2022, local clinical connections are more important than ever. This is your chance to embed yourself in your local community of health practitioners to make friends, network, learn new information and have fun in a collaborative, knowledge-sharing space!
This society meeting will focus on the non-pharmacological management of depression and anxiety.
Whether it is patient preference or not suitable for a particular patient, there will be a time where medication for depression and anxiety is not an option. So what treatment options match the efficacy of prescription medication?
At the Coffs Harbour & Bellingen Clinical Society we will hear about various treatment models outside of prescription medication, including psychological treatment therapies such as mindfulness, exercise and nutritional changes. We will learn about local services, referral options and online resources that can help you support your patients experiencing depression or anxiety.
