Coffs Harbor Intro Training for Potential Foster Carers on the 2 and 3/12
Event Information
Description
Shared Stories Shared Lives (SSSL) is a free and comprehensive two day workshop for people who have an interest in becoming accredited foster carers. Apart from being an amazing opportunity to ask everything you want to know about fostering, the SSSL is a mandatory training for all of those who want to become a register carer in NSW.
It will happen on Friday and Saturday, December 2 and 3 from 9am to 3pm.
- Registration is essential prior to the event. Please ensure your contact details are correct as your attendance will depend on our ability to contact you over the phone prior to the event.
- Attendance on both days is essential. In case you cannot attend one of the days, please mind you'll need to wait until the next session is available in your region so you can complete your training. Thanks in advance for your registration.
The SSSL is an interactive training that gives you the chance to ask all questions you might have about having a young person under your care for short of long periods of time. It focuses in the challenges, rewards, rights and duties of foster carers in NSW. The SSSL is also a great chance to learn about education, trauma and children development.
