Coffs Coast Ecotourism and Tourism Summit
Event Information
About this Event
Coffs Harbour City Council recently commenced the process to become a certified ECO Destination. The ECO Destination Certification program assures travellers that destinations are backed by a strong, well-managed commitment to sustainable practices and provide high-quality nature-based tourism experiences within the region.
To share what this means for the destination, local tourism operators, businesses and partners, Council’s Industry and Destination Development team invite you to the Coffs Coast Ecotourism and Tourism Summit, on Wednesday 2 December at C.ex Coffs International Stadium.
The Late Afternoon Session will feature an in-person presentation by experts from Ecotourism Australia - including information about certification, what the certification means for the Coffs Coast, and how tourism businesses can benefit. This will be followed by our industry Christmas drinks.
Morning and Afternoon Sessions feature a live-stream of the Global Eco Asia-Pacific Tourism Conference, the world’s most respected ecotourism conference. Topics will focus on Ecotourism Post COVID-19, exploring how the industry can evolve and maintain their relevance, meeting current challenges and opportunities.
The Conference live-stream is part of the program support offered by Ecotourism Australia.
Registration is free and refreshments will be provided.
