Are you interested in how we can use technology to help our young people develop bright futures?

CoderDojo WA is coming to Exmouth and you're invited to get involved!

Parents, young people, teachers, school staff, community people, library folk, local government, defence, data, logistics, tinkerers, manufacturers, engineers, web developers, IT people, digital creatives, youth workers plus ANYONE IN EXMOUTH interested in using tech to create a better tomorrow, are invited to a CoderDojo WA community-building night.

You do NOT need to know how to code. You only need to be interested in technology and helping young people learn.

This is an opportunity for the community to come together and learn how to support a bright future for young people in Exmouth.

Event Information

5.30 - 6.30pm Introduction to CoderDojo

You will learn many things including:

What CoderDojo is all about
What is coding and why is it important
How to become a Mentor and support young people as they build their coding and 21st century skills.
How to access FREE resources that will help you and your family learn to code.

6.30 - 7.30pm Building an Exmouth network for 21st century skills

Here we will discuss how the Exmouth community can come together to create a strong network of support to help our young people succeed in the 21st century.

Food and refreshments will be provided!

CoderDojo is an open source education movement, and a worldwide community of fun, free and social coding clubs (Dojos) for 7-17 year olds (Ninjas) which help them develop digital literacy and other 21st century skills.
