Are you a practitioner who works with young people and you are committed to ethical and high standards?

Youth Work SA aims to assist committed youth workers by providing professional and personal development workshops.

Our next workshop is on the Code of Ethics; 24th August 2017

* Workshop is from 9.30am until 11.30am

* AGM from 11.30am until 12.30pm if you wish to join us.

Youth Work SA aims to enhance the quality of service to young people by strengthening and supporting the unique philosophy and practice of youth work. Youth Work SA aims to achieve this by articulating standards, encouraging a culture of critical reflection and professional development and by raising awareness of the theoretical and practical distinctive of youth work. It is envisaged that Youth Work SA will assist youth workers to better define and explain their professional identities, to aspire to high standards of practice and to build their portfolio of qualifications and skills. It is envisaged that Youth Work SA will also influence and enable corporate entities who employ youth workers to better recognise and support youth workers as professionals and reflective practitioners.
