Event description

Description

Code Club is a free after school program for boys and girls aged 8-12 years.

Code Club is a 10 week course that runs Tuesday afternoons during school term and teaches children the skills, confidence and opportunity to shape their world using coding, robotics and game-design.

In Term 1 we will learn to code with ‘Scratch’, a program developed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Learn the basics of coding by developing your own computer games and technologies.

Tuesday afternoons 3.30pm-5.00pm during term time.

Bookings are essential and places are limited so we're asking for a commitment from participants to attend all 10 sessions. Term 1 runs from 6 February - 10 April 2018.

Snacks provided. In the Library Meeting Room.
