Description

This free Scratch Coding for Experts (Module 3) program is designed for children in school years 4 - 6 with intermediate Scratch MIT coding skills. Highly recommended for those who have previously completed Code Club's Scratch Beginners (Module 1) and Intermediate (Module 2) programs.

Code Club is about fun, creativity and learning through exploring. Please do not register your child for this program if your child has no experience or is at a novice/beginner's level of visual block-based coding.

Code Club classes will meet Thursdays on 13 February, 20 February, 27 February, 5 March and 12 March from 4.30 - 5.30pm.

Terms and Conditions:

  • Members of the Code Club Scratch Coding for Experts must be between school years 4 – 6 in 2020
  • Members of Code Club Scratch Coding for Experts must have intermediate level Scratch Coding MIT skills.
  • Children must be signed in and out by a parent/guardian at each meeting.
  • Children must be collected within 10 minutes of class finishing time.
  • Children are expected to attend the full term’s course. The Library should be informed when your child is unable to attend.
  • You must be a Library member to attend. Library membership is free and you can join up at any branch.
  • SMILE! Your attendance at events supported by Randwick City Council may be digitally recorded through photographs and/or video recordings. Images may be used for promotional purposes on council's websites, publications, social media or by newspapers. By attending this session you agree to these terms. If you do not wish your image to be published, please notify staff before the event.
