Event description

Description

Code Club is a fun, creative way to learn to code. The program is for beginners with content designed to introduce kids to coding. Learning to code strengthens problem-solving skills, logical thinking; and supports academic subjects such as science and maths.

Code Club is strictly for children ages 9-12 years. Registrations for children outside of this age group will not be accepted. Sessions are free and places are limited.

Term 2 of Casuarina Code Club will be held at 4:30pm - 5:30pm every Thursday for 8 weeks. Sessions begin on the 3rd of May and run through until the 21st June 2018.

This club will focus on Scratch programming language. Scratch allows kids to create their own interactive stories, games, and animations.

Please note: This session will repeat content from Term 1- it is not an extension on Scratch programming for children who have participated in the Code Club Scratch module previously.
