Event description

Description

Co-design and co-production works effectively when consumers have the tools needed to work collaboratively with health and community service organisations.

Health Issues Centre is offering a three-hour workshop on co-production for consumers and community members.

When is the workshop?
Tuesday 12 September, 2017.

Where is the workshop held?
Level 1, 255 Bourke Street, Melbourne.

How much does the workshop cost?
It is $350 plus GST for individuals.

If you wish to register in a group, the cost is $350 plus GST for the first person, and then $200 plus GST for any additional person registered from the same organisation.

We encourage consumers and board members to seek funding from their health service to cover the cost of this training.

When do registrations close?
Tuesday 5 September, 2017.

What do past participants say?
"I understand now the difference between coproduction and co-design and can see how we need to start working with the community from the beginning. We shouldn’t wait until the program has been designed before asking their opinions about the program. I will always refer to the resources that we received. They are so helpful!" - Renee, June 2017.

More information:
These workshops are also available for groups at your health service. Please contact Dr Tere Dawson on (03) 8676 9057 or via email at t.dawson@healthissuescentre.org.au with any queries.
