Co-operatives and Mutuals Strategic Development Program

UNIQUE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITY

FIRST ROUND OFFER FOR 2017 BCCM LEADERS' SUMMIT ATTENDEES

The BCCM is excited to be able to offer the Executive Leadership Program for Co-operatives and Mutuals in Melbourne in February with 10% off for summit attendees.

The program is the only one of its kind in Australia. It is designed for directors and managers of co-operatives and mutuals, and focuses on industry best practice regarding the sustainability, performance, and resilience of co-operative and mutual organisations.

While there are many general management and development programs on the market, most do not meet the specific requirements of this sector, which has acknowledged the need for a dedicated course which captures the unique nature of the co-operative enterprise business model.

The BCCM has negotiated the special price of $2,600 for the three day February program, down from $4,200.

There is also a 10% discount for those attending the 2017 BCCM Leaders' Summit and Industry Dinner.

There are a limited number of places. By registering your expression of interest early, you are more likely to secure your place on the course. Expressions of interest are free. We recommend that a number of people from your organisation enrol.

PLEASE REGISTER ON EVENTBRITE BY FRIDAY 15TH SEPTEMBER FOR THIS FIRST ROUND OFFER.

After that date we will contact you to confirm attendance.

Duration: Three days
Venue: Melbourne CBD
Dates: Early February 2017
Fees: $2600.00 plus GST (10% off for BCCM Leaders' Summit attendees)
The three-day program fee covers lunch, morning and afternoon tea.

The program had a profound impact on my understanding of co-operative and mutual enterprise and has confirmed for me why we do the things we do” - Paul Amos, The Co-op Heart of the Barossa, past participant

I thoroughly enjoyed the course and interaction with other course delegates and staff. I found it very refreshing and useful to look at issues that affected other co-ops both positively and negatively that will be of great use to me in an effort to better our own business. Tim, Elena, Katy and Steve were all great presenters with a depth of knowledge that was very helpful” - Russell Becker, Director & Vice Chairman, Capricorn Society Limited (CSL), Past Participant

About the Presenters
The program is designed and facilitated by Professor Tim Mazzarol and Dr Elena Limnios who are both world experts in the co-operative and mutual sector. They have conducted extensive research and have authored many publications outlining the key issues, advantages and challenges that face co-operative and mutual organisations. Both Tim and Elena are also highly skilled and engaging facilitators, who take an experiential approach to adult education, which challenges and inspires participants.
