CME Annual Business Lunch
Event Information
About this Event
The Honourable John Winston Howard served as the 25th Prime Minister of Australia from March 1996 until November 2007. He is Australia’s second longest serving prime minister, having served in the role for four terms.
During that time he presided over some of Australia’s most significant reforms and challenges, including the introduction of the GST, gun control laws, people smuggling and securing the nation’s security post 9/11.
It is hard to find a prime minister who equals John Howard in terms of his grasp of people, politics and policy.
Don’t miss this remarkable opportunity to join us at CME’s Annual Business Lunch and hear from Mr Howard on a range of issues, including:
- State and Federal politics
- Australia’s economic recovery and what the economic future for the world may hold
- Australia’s relationship with China and the US
- Threats to international security
Registration is from 12.00pm, lunch commences at 12.15pm.
