Event description
CMAA 'DesignPave' Software Training sessions - Presenter Keanu Andrews (CMAA). Start times: 9am and 1pm.

About this event

New Conference Satellite Event - Presented by the CMAA.

Supported by: Arbor Centre & Hassell Studio

As a satellite event to the Arbor Centre Conference, we are delighted to support the CMAA in their running of two free seminar sessions on the 'DesignPave' software application.

The aim of the seminar will be to get attendees familiarised with the software and the theoretical design which forms its backbone. It will act as the steppingstone for engineers to begin their own journey into permeable pavement design. Presenter Keanu Andrews will be speaking on this topic during our Conference on Wednesday 2nd June.

Attendees have two options for this two-and-a-half-hour seminar; you can book your free ticket for either the 9am or the 1pm session.

The sessions will take place at; Hassell Studio, Level 1 Commonwealth Bank Building, 242 Murray Street, Perth.

The Arbor Centre would like to thank our colleagues at Hassell Studio for being Host Venue Supporters.

The CMAA comment.... "Pavements in Australia are predominantly designed as impermeable systems, with engineers, architects and urban planners alike often encouraged to only meet this minimum functional use. This seminar challenges the limitations imposed on Australian pavement design and will equip you with the tools to design multi-functional use pavements economically and sustainably through permeable interlocking concrete pavements (PICP)".
