Clinical Hypnosis for the Natural Therapist is designed to facilitate the understanding and practical clinical hypnosis skills within natural therapies. In the workshop we will cover clinical hypnosis concepts, theory and practice to identify points of similarity between clinical hypnosis and existing natural therapy practices. Hypnotic processes such as:
will be taught, reinforced by practical demonstrations with volunteer group members and practiced within the workshop structures to facilitate and reinforce learning.
Clinical hypnosis is a methodology which is often inherent within various forms of natural therapies. The literature supports increased efficacy and effectiveness of treatment when hypnosis is incorporated. In this workshop you will be taught to identify where your existing techniques encompass the hypnotic state. By understanding the constituents of the hypnotic state gives you the capacity to delineate when hypnosis is inherent in existing techniques and how to employ clinical hypnosis as a stand-alone technique to reinforce existing frameworks.
