About this Event

Climate change is a major public health threat. We can all see the changes climate change is making to our weather in terms of fire, drought and storms. There are other effects though, that are less obvious but have serious implications for the health of humans.

This presentation outlines the health effects of climate change and provides information on what you can do to reduce the threats of climate change for you and your family.

Dr Kate Wylie is a General Practitioner who lives and works in the city of Tea Tree Gully. She is a member of Doctors for the Environment. Dr Wylie believes that climate change should be treated as a health issue and that doctors have an important role to play in treating this serious problem.
