Climate justice after Paris: key challenges, opportunities and priorities
The 2015 Paris Climate Conference is widely recognized as a key milestone in the global response to climate change; its impacts and solutions. As President of the Mary Robinson Foundation – Climate Justice and the UN Secretary-General’s Special Envoy on Climate Change Mary Robinson played an important role in the Paris climate conference process.
This will be a unique opportunity to hear one of the world’s most respected human rights advocates reflect on climate justice priorities after Paris.
Mary Robinson was also the former President of the International Commission of Jurists and former chair of the Council of Women World Leaders. She served as Honorary President of Oxfam International from 2002-2012. She is the recipient of numerous honours including the Presidential Medal of Freedom from the President of the United States, Barack Obama.
