Blacktown City Council is currently developing a new Clean Water Community Grants Program to assist community organisations to improve local water quality.
Many of you have been involved in community environmental initiatives for a long time including; The Fishing Bat Project, International Day of Action for Rivers, We Love the Ponds Project, Clean Up Australia Day, Bushcare, Sustainable Schools and Community Gardens. Others of you will belong to active community organisations that have not been involved in delivering environmental projects.
If you belong to a community group, no matter how large or small, active or inactive, Council’s Clean Water Community Grants could be for you.
You’re invited to this special event, launching the Grant program. Apart from learning about the program the event will help you to write a high quality project application.
The format for the night will include both relaxed and fun networking as well as some structured discussion and very brief presentations.
This event will be facilitated by Grahame Collier of T Issues Consultancy and will include some networking activities, hints on how to apply for grant funding and develop winning projects that can improve the environment and be shared within our community.
