Women in Business lunch - Clare - Thursday 18 February
"Ideal Week - streamlining and time compression"
Our first Network event for Clare in 2021 is looking at streamlining and time compression with our presenter Dee Scown.
Dee is an author, speaker and Master Coach with SMJ Institute, while managing multiple family businesses, and also a member of the Women in Business Regional Network. Dee has dabbled in many pursuits over her 46 years of work and business, while living mostly in the bush. She has experience in various fields from Hospitality and Retail through to Management, Engineering and Education finance.
Having been programmed by her family and culture to believe that she could not succeed at anything, Dee has a huge passion to see others come into their own, even more so since becoming chronically ill in 2012 and fighting that diagnosis (bedridden for life) to be where she is now. Dee shares her passion and vision to help others grow, survive and thrive when faced with adversity. “Don’t allow one pause to become a complete stop, take the breather you need, and then slowly and carefully scan the horizon while you re-assess and eventually set off on your new journey to success.”
The function is open to all women in business - members and non-members, those who manage, own or work in a business or those who think they'd like to be in business.
The atmosphere is relaxed and supportive. You're encouraged to also bring a friend along too who might also have interests in this area. Come along and find out more about the opportunities it presents for you.
NB: The ticket price is a booking fee only. You will need to purchase your own food and drinks.
