Description

City of Sydney offers the business community the opportunity to develop critical skills for doing business with Asia.

A series of workshops developed by Asialink Business for small and medium sized businesses will help participants break down the complexities of working with Asian countries.

Each interactive 2-hour workshop will focus on doing business in a particular industry in Asia. Participants can attend single courses, or gain additional insights into doing business with Asia by taking part in all three workshops as part of their learning journey.

WORKSHOP 3: Pitching to Asian Investors

For start-ups and businesses seeking to attract investment or partners from Asia, understanding the nuances of how to successfully pitch your product or service to these investors is critical to success.

This workshop will provide participants with strategies for pitching to Asian investors with a focus on the markets of China, India and Korea. The content will include a focus on the key cultural drivers and differences to consider when developing or customising your pitch, understanding key decision-making factors, process, and lead times, and how these may differ compared with western markets. The workshop will also include an opportunity to practise and receive peer feedback on your own pitch.

The workshop will be led by Asialink Business CEO, Mukund Narayanamurti.
