About this event

About this event.

Join City of Parramatta and Greater Sydney Landcare for National Tree Day at Upjohn Reserve, 71 Ulm Street Ermington.

Plant trees to restore a creekline, create valuable habitat for birds and other wildlife and build on the great work of previous National Tree Days at this site. A sausage sizzle lunch will be provided for all attendees, there will be a plant give away and most importantly, with your help, Upjohn Park will have more trees.

Green spaces aren't just great for urban ecosystems, they're also associated with better physical health, lower stress levels, and greater community satisfaction. Now's your chance to get involved with revitalising this space in your neighbourhood.

Please wear long sleeves, long pants, closed sturdy shoes and a hat and sunscreen, and bring your own drink bottle.

On-site training, tools, and refreshments will be provided. The area has been prepared for planting and is suitable for families.

RSVPs are essential to help us with catering. Please email us or cancel your ticket if you can no longer attend. There is ample street parking available nearby.

For insurance purposes you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian if you are under 16 years of age.
