The City of Burnside is rich in wildlife. Ever seen a bird or a beetle in your garden and wondered what it was? Or perhaps you’ve seen a bat or a bandicoot in a local park? Or you would like to? Learn some tricks on observing wildlife, recording what you see, and how to get assistance with identification.

This session will introduce mobile phone apps and websites that can be used for recording wildlife. The session will be most beneficial to those who are confident using mobile phone apps.

This session will also introduce the City Nature Challenge, an annual global event for city dwellers to record and celebrate the biodiversity in our backyards.
