Event description

Description

Join Hobart Hackerspace to play with Electrons. Make circuits out of common household objects to light lights and buzz buzzers. Draw a working circuit on paper, hack a lemon, make squishy circuits, and experiment with plasma balls - the only limit is your imagination!

All Makerspace sessions are held in the Meeting Room, Kingston LINC. Bookings are required for all attendees.

Age 8 - 14 years. Maximum of 12 participants per session.

As there are limited places please ensure your child attends as planned, or you withdraw their enrolment if they are no longer able to attend. This means that other young people interested do not miss out. We appreciate your cooperation with this matter.

For more information contact Sonya at Kingston LINC on 6165 6210 or email sonya.moon@education.tas.gov.au.

These workshops are a partnership between Kingborough Council and Hobart Hackerspace and supported by Kingston LINC.

Staff and/or volunteers from Hobart Hackerspace will be conducting these workshops. All presenters have current Working with Vulnerable People checks.

This project received grant funding from the Australian Government.
