Circle of Security for Professionals
Overview
Join the Circle of Security for Professionals!
This course runs from 9am-1pm on Monday 25th May and Tuesday 26th May 2026.
At times all parents feel lost or without a clue about what their child might need from them. The Circle of Security® Parenting™ program is based on decades of research about how secure parent-child relationships can be supported and strengthened.
Although the original course is designed for parents to understand their children, The Perinatal Professionals Hub would like to invite Perinatal mental health professionals:
- To explore the content and reflect on how it might be applicable to your clients.
- To reflect what might show up for you when working through these concepts and how to be mindful of your own experiences.
- This is also a great opportunity to visit the content of this program prior to becoming an accredited facilitator.
This course is applicable for ALL Perinatal professionals including:
- Psychologists
- Maternal and Child Health Nurses
- Midwives
- GPs/Obstetricians
- Social workers
- Family support workers
- Childhood educators
- Anyone in the perinatal field!
This program is run over two half days (Monday and Tuesday 9am-1pm) and focuses on helping you to help clients:
- Understand their child’s emotional world by learning to read emotional needs
- Support their child’s ability to successfully manage emotions
- Enhance the development of their child's self esteem
- Honour the innate wisdom and desire for their child to be secure
