Event description

Description

UNSW Sydney is pleased to invite you to the official launch of UNSW Law’s Herbert Smith Freehills China International Business and Economic Law (CIBEL) Centre.

The Centre is the world’s largest centre outside of China for the study and teaching of CIBEL matters. This long-term strategic initiative will strengthen research and partnerships in international business and economic law relevant to China in the 21st century, and particularly to the Australia-China trading corridor.

We will be joined on the night by key speakers from both Herbert Smith Freehills and CIBEL, including Co-Director Associate Professor Heng Wang.

The University gratefully acknowledges the support of Herbert Smith Freehills in establishing this pioneering initiative, and looks forward to recognising their contribution at this special event.

We hope you can join us to mark the beginning of this initiative, which will advance the Australia-China international economic law relationship.
