Chocolate Appreciation Evening This is an informative class designed for anyone wanting to learn how to make chocolates from scratch. This fun filled evening is packed with skills, knowledge and tips and tricks of the trade to help you improve your technique in working with this life saving ingredient! During the evening you will: Be greeted with a delicious hot and spicy chocolate Taste a selection of dark, milk and white chocolate as well as nibs and beans. Watch a short informative DVD about the production of chocolate (from farm to bar). Watch a demonstration on how to temper chocolate. Learn how to hand dip chocolates using a variety of fillings and fruits Learn how to make solid moulded chocolates. Take home everything you create in a goodie bag! All class notes, step-by-step guides and recipes are provided so you can re-create your chocolates time and time again. Hand made fillings and fruit provided by Jessica. You’ll be using genuine Swiss couverture chocolate produced by Felchlin. Opportunity to purchase chocolate and cacao will be available after class. Taught by Jessica Pedemont.
