Chris While and Julie Matthews

Chris While (vocals, guitar, banjo, dulcimer, bodhran and percussion) and Julie Matthews (vocals, piano, guitar, mandolin and bouzouki) are renowned for their seamless harmonies and affinity for each other on stage. They are stunning singers, songwriters, musicians and performers, whose energy and commitment to their craft and audience is boundless.

Chris and Julie have performed as a duo since 1994. They have recorded eleven original albums, two live albums and two “best of” collections, as well as three albums each as solo artists. They have performed an estimated 2,650 shows. They have toured Australia thirteen times, including in 2018, when they were awarded the "Artists of the Year" award at the Port Fairy Folk Festival.
