The Story of Ponder Brush

墨文化社的历史

The brush, we believe enables an extension of our vision, emotions and thoughts expressed by the pondering of the ink on paper. Through the training in the way of the brush, can a path be created to extend ourselves beyond lifting and pondering on the brush.

Our Founder and Grand Master Choi is an integral practitioner and cultivator of the classical Chinese arts. She believes the world of Arts especially the Classical Chinese Arts, though ancient in its 5000 years of history, still has much relevancy in our modern times to empower ourselves and others to make meaningful societal contributions through self-cultivation and become enlightened in the subtle gestural arts like calligraphy.

Ms Choi is dedicated to promote the Chinese Classical Arts and Culture as a way of life along with the many other worldly cultures Humanity shares. She routinely utilises her skills to embody her core mantra in assisting those less financially, spiritually and/or emotionally privileged through charitable activities and efforts in empowering the communities around her.

The inception of Ponder Brush has its roots based in Perth, Australia, the emerging Hub part of the GMT+8 regions of high economic and social activity in the Asia-Pacific and in the World. Ponder Brush is a boutique creative enterprise and studio with the mission to promote and provide access to the world of Chinese Classical Arts and Culture for all communities to benefit.
