Child Protection for the Early Childhood Educator: Spotlight on Mandatory Reporting:

  • Responsibilities of early childhood professionals in regard to reporting suspected child abuse

  • Indicators a child may be at risk of abuse

  • How to report and when to report suspected abuse

  • Importance of confidentiality around mandatory reporting and suspected abuse

IMPORTANT

Only one Certificate will be issued per registration. If multiple staff are attending please register them individually. Alternatively a Certificate can be issued in the Centres name.

This is only a refresher. Some states require staff to have CHCPRT001 Identify and respond to children and young people at risk. If you need to complete the full Child Protection Course you can contact us at the EPEC Education office to arrange this. office@epeceducation.com.au
