Have your kids grown out of some nice clothes, and only worn them a couple of times?
Yeah, me too.
Let’s swap ’em for new-to-us items that fit.
We’ll spend the first half hour separating clothing into sizes, and distributing them into their appropriate size classification. The rest of the time we’ll “shop”. Children welcome. I’m capping this event at 30 registrations (one registration = one family). For example, one mom who will bringing two littles counts as just one RSVP.
Minimum 20 items (to be contributed to the floor) per booking please (please contact Claire if this is a problem)
Contribute 20 pieces of good quality clothes (no junk, stains or thin worn) and laundered please. You can bring these items on the day or during pre-date drop off (listed below)
Take only what you need and will use! There is no limit to what you may take but the general expectation is no-one should go home with more than the 20 item minimum-donation-amount.
Agree that nothing you get at a swap for free will ever be sold — it must be used or given to someone else for free (that doesn’t include donating to most thrift stores, which will sell it).
Every aspect of the swap is free, including the venue and the volunteer coordinators. NO MONEY is to be exchanged! Period!
Remaining clothes will be donated to the various Swap Boxes in Albury Wodonga

PRE-DATE DROP OFF
Wednesday November 9th : 3pm - 5pm
Friday November 11th : 2pm - 5pm
If you would like any of your items to be hung-up on the racks please bring hangers (we will put your name on the hangers for you to take home at the end). We want you to be proud of the things you are exchanging – display them as you would like new items to be treated.
If you would like to drop your items in on Wednesday to avoid the “rush” and help us prepare a little in advance. Otherwise you can bring your items on the day and help up categorise them in the first half hour of the event.
WE ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO
Bring your children to try the clothes on – each registration is taken as a “family” so each “family” should donate 20+ items and should take 20 (or less).
Mingle and meet new parents who are like minded about “buying new” clothes.
Be courteous and kind in all your actions – no jostling or fighting for an item, don’t take more that you need and ensure everyone has a good time.
Put your name on the email list for future swap meets
Looking forward to happy swapping!
*Please note clothes left at closing time will be donated to the various Swap Boxes around Albury/Wodonga region*
