Learn to make this succulent chicken dish that originates from Miyazaki Prefecture in Kyushu which is in the far south of Japan.

About this Event

Join Mayuko-san live from her small kitchen in Tokyo, where she will teach you how to make delicious Chicken Nanban.

In making Chicken Nanban we marinate the chicken in a soy sauce based sweet vinegar sauce before deep-frying, and top it off with a rich tartar sauce. Mayuko has never seen anybody who does not get excited about this dish.

You will also make a suitable side dish, crispy shiitake tofu (or you can use tomato instead of tofu), which will be your life-long dish!

Please download the preparation list and recipes and get ready with the ingredients in advance (you can just watch the class with wine while other participants are cooking). Please prepare the indicated amounts of the ingredients (except seasonings) in advance so that you can concentrate on learning!
