Whether you're a die hard foodie, a craft beer fanatic, a home fermenter, Australia's top wino or you simply want to have a picnic and enjoy the live music with your friends and family, CheeseFest&Ferment is the place to be.

There are a wide variety of events on offer over the weekend including:

Over ONE HUNDRED food and beverage stalls featuring SA (and Australia's) best and brightest cheese, food and beverage producers with Fresh, local produce int he picturesque Rymill Park

Our inaugural GREAT WINE AND CHEESE VOYAGE - A Four Hour Odyssey of wine and cheese through the East End of Adelaide.

Free Cooking Demonstrations from world renowned Chefs and Fermenters

Nine Unique Speciality Wine Tasting Masterclasses, presented by East End Cellars and hosted by Wine Experts from all over SA - (Free ticket to the festival for every masterclass ticket bought)

Stroll on over to our French, Italian, and Spanish Quarter (The best European cheeses and wines, without the jetlag!)

TWO G&T bars, if you just want to wet your whistle

And our Family Picnic Area, with free Face Painting and Kids Entertainment!

The Master is Back!

We are so proud to announce that Matt Preston will be returning in his role as our Master of Fromage!

Head on down to the Demo Stage at 2pm on Saturday and Sunday to see the Master in action.

Expect mouth-watering food, witty commentary, the freshest cravat, and plenty of High-Fives all around.

  • Weekend Pass - $40

  • Adult Day Ticket Saturday/Sunday at the Gate - $30 - (Should have bought my tickets online!)

  • Concession Tickets at the Gate - $25 (Only available at the gate, Concession card required)

  • Kids 12 and under - FREE! - (We want to teach you about good food, fermentation and REAL CHEESE! Must be accompanied with an adult)

  • Carers - FREE! - (with valid carers card)


Ticket prices increase to $30 at the gate and online after October 25.

Although we understand this is frustrating, we can explain. To ensure that you have an amazing (and safe) experience at our festival, there are many costs to make this happen – from the ticket booth, ticket booth staff and additional security to clean amenities and great music! Thank you for understanding.

Explore the globe without the jet-lag!

No need for an airfare to Italy or France when you can spend your afternoon strolling through Adelaide’s East End enjoying wines from around the world with cheese pairings to match.

Enjoy sampling the best international wines from regions such as Rheinhessen in Germany, Bordeaux in France, Verona in Italy, Casablanca Valley in Chile, and Porto in Portugal, and discover why South Australian varieties are some of the best in the world. Leave the compression socks at home for this one!

Italy's most nobel wine state - Pidemont - a taste across the hills and the valleys - from bubbles to Barolo!

4.30 pm Sat 26th Oct - The Great South Australian Wine Tour

A South Australian expedition - Exploring the unique wine regions from the country's most productive wine state. Adelaide Hills to The Coonawarra, Mclaren Vale to the Barossa - wines that makes South Australia the best

6.30 pm Sat 26th Oct - A trip to Priorat, Garnatxa (Grenache) capital of the world!

Come on a road trip with The Spanish Acquisition. We roll like this ...

Fly into el Prats, Barcelona airport. Grab an Audi. Take off South along the Penedes coastline. Half an hour out, we’ll refresh with a brilliant Penedes sparkling. We’ll take a turn through the chalk slopes of Terra Alta and gather a brilliant fresh-but-textured Garnatxa Blanca. Then the thrills begin in earnest. We drive up over the Montsant range and down into a lost world, the Priorat valley.

11am Sun 27th Oct - The Wines of Germany

Achtung! Germany makes more than just the world's most sought after Riesling - let us introduce you to the other great wines of Deutchland

1.00 pm Sun 27th Oct - Coast to Rhone

From the coast to the hills - a tasting tour from the South of France to the Hills of the Rhone. An introduction to the wines of Languedoc, Provence, Rhone, and the Island of Corsica.

3:00pm Sun 27th Oct - The World Tour

A comprehensive tasting of wines from the new and old World of wine. Crossing Europe, Australia, The Americas and more!

5:00pm Sun 27th Oct - GIN!

Join the Larks, Sarah and Jon, founders and head distillers at Kangaroo Island Spirits, as they debunk tasting myths about the most aromatic of spirits, and give you a few little secrets of their own.
